Risk Dashboard

Read portfolio risk, inspect exposures and configure hedge bands and alerts.

Read portfolio Greeks and value at risk

Confidence sets the loss-tail percentile, horizon is the modeled period in calendar days, and paths is the number of simulated outcomes. VaR is not a maximum possible loss; CVaR summarizes the worse tail.

  1. Read the portfolio Greeks for the selected holdings, noting their units and directions.
  2. For VaR, choose confidence, horizon and paths. Confidence is the loss percentile, horizon is calendar days, and paths is the number of simulated outcomes.
  3. Compare VaR with CVaR, which summarizes the worse tail. Neither is a maximum-loss guarantee, and more paths do not remove model uncertainty.

Find concentrated portfolio exposure

Use the Risk Dashboard exposure view to compare expirations or strikes. Follow the largest concentrations into the filtered position rows.

  1. Open the exposure view in Risk Dashboard.
  2. Compare exposure by strike or expiration to find concentrations.
  3. Follow the largest concentrations into the position rows and review the contracts contributing to them.

Use hedge bands and compare methods

The hedge band compares Delta exposure with a tolerance range. Manual, Adaptive, Theta-scaled and Dollar risk calculate that tolerance differently. Input changes preview the band; Save method stores the setting.

  1. Open Hedge and read recorded net Delta against the shaded no-trade band. A signal is guidance, not an order.
  2. Choose Manual limits, Adaptive cost-aware tolerance, Theta-scaled tolerance, or Dollar risk. Adjust each method’s inputs and watch the band preview.
  3. Target Delta sets the center of the calculated methods. Save method makes the preview active for signals and alerts; unsaved edits do not change the saved configuration.

Set up alerts, email and Telegram delivery

In the Risk Dashboard Alerts tab, configure your rules, timing and delivery preferences. Save them and enable the relevant master and delivery switches.

  1. In Alerts, enable the rules you need: Greek limits, VaR, hedge-band conditions or Greek ratios. Enter the thresholds and Save settings.
  2. Configure recovery notices, after-hours checks and cooldown. The cooldown controls repeated notices; it is not a periodic reminder.
  3. Turn on Send notifications and choose Email. To use a different destination, enter the address and verify the code sent to it before relying on delivery.
  4. For Telegram, connect the bot, press Start in Telegram, return and verify the link. Enable Telegram delivery and save.
  5. Use Send test and check each channel result as well as actual receipt. A working delivery test does not establish whether your risk thresholds are suitable.

Set up Telegram delivery

Open Alerts delivery settings, follow the Telegram linking steps and verify the connection. Enable Telegram delivery for the saved alert settings.

Set up email delivery

Use the Alerts email-delivery controls to set and verify the destination, then enable email delivery and save the settings.
