Option Anatomy Pro and OptionStrat Live Tools cost within a dollar of each other. A dated, line-by-line comparison of what each one is actually for.
People ask us how Option Anatomy compares to OptionStrat, and the honest answer is that the two are less interchangeable than their prices suggest. Both cost around forty dollars a month. Both are aimed at options traders. They are built for different jobs, and picking the wrong one for your job is a more expensive mistake than picking the pricier one.
So here is the comparison, with a rule we hold ourselves to: every claim about the other product comes from OptionStrat's own pricing and features pages, it carries the date we checked it, and the sources are linked at the bottom. Where they are better, the table says so.
OptionStrat is a well-made standalone options tool: a strategy builder with a drag-to-adjust payoff chart, a strategy optimizer, and, on its higher tier, real-time unusual-options-flow tracking. Its Live Tools plan is $39.99 a month; Option Anatomy Pro is $39.00 a month billed annually, or $44.99 month to month. Close enough that the question is not really price. It is what each one is for.
The short version: OptionStrat models trades you type in. Option Anatomy connects to your brokerage, loads what you actually hold, and tells you why it made or lost money. Below is the line-by-line, with what each plan lists on its own pricing page. Every Option Anatomy cell links to the page that shows the feature.

A green check means the plan lists the feature; a half mark means it is listed with a limit; a red cross means it is not listed on that plan’s own page as of the verification date, not that it can never exist. Both products change; if a cell is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
If what you want is a fast, polished place to sketch a trade before you place it, with no account connected, OptionStrat does that very well and has done it longer. Its flow tracking, market-events overlay, futures support, Discord and native mobile apps are things Option Anatomy does not offer.
If you do not hold positions you want analyzed, or you trade at a brokerage neither product connects to, the connection that is Option Anatomy’s main advantage is worth nothing to you.
If you hold real positions and are tired of re-keying them, Option Anatomy loads them from your brokerage and keeps them current across several accounts at once.
If your question is why the account moved rather than what a hypothetical would do, the Greek attribution, the IV charts, the journal built from your fills and the risk dashboard exist to answer exactly that, and none of them has an equivalent on the other side of the table.
Plenty of traders would sensibly use both: OptionStrat for flow and quick what-ifs, Option Anatomy for the book they actually hold. Nothing about either product prevents it, and the free plan here costs nothing to keep alongside.

If you want to sketch a trade before you place it, with nothing connected, OptionStrat does that well and has done it longer. If your question is why the account you already hold moved the way it did, that is the question Option Anatomy was built to answer, and a standalone builder structurally cannot answer it: it never sees your fills.
Plenty of traders would sensibly run both. Our free plan costs nothing to keep alongside whatever else you use.
