These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Convexity Group ("we", "us", or "our"), operator of Option Anatomy (the "Service") at optionanatomy.com. These Terms include our Refund Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Please review these documents before accepting them or purchasing a subscription. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy excludes any mandatory consumer right, warranty, cancellation right, refund, or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Those rights prevail over any conflicting provision, including provisions about liability, termination, disputes, and refunds.
Option Anatomy is an options-analytics application operated by Convexity Group. You can reach us at [email protected].
Option Anatomy provides options analytics, including position modeling, profit-and-loss attribution, a trade journal, implied-volatility charts, portfolio risk analytics, an optimizer, and alerts. With your authorization, it reads supported brokerage information. Paper trades and simulations are hypothetical: they do not place orders, execute trades, or move money in your brokerage account.
Option Anatomy does not provide investment, financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and nothing in the Service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold a security or pursue a trading strategy. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or financial planner. We do not hold your investment assets or execute trades.
Analytics can contain errors and depend on assumptions, estimated or delayed inputs, and incomplete brokerage history. Scenario returns and probabilities are estimates, not predictions or guarantees. Estimated risk for structures such as calendars is not necessarily a maximum possible loss. Hypothetical results do not establish achievable execution prices or future performance. Verify important information with your broker and independent sources. You are responsible for your investment decisions. Options involve substantial risk.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] of any unauthorized use. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.
You may authorize a supported connection through SnapTrade or a direct Interactive Brokers Flex integration. SnapTrade and your broker handle brokerage login credentials; we do not ask for or store your brokerage password. For a direct Flex connection, we store the read-only access token and query identifiers you supply, with sensitive connection secrets encrypted at rest. Connection credentials are used to fetch the information you authorize, not to trade.
Your broker and any connection provider have their own terms and privacy policies. Coverage, refresh frequency, and data availability vary by connection. Disconnecting stops future retrieval through that connection; it does not automatically delete previously imported records. The Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion. You can also revoke authorization with your broker or connection provider.
Market data (including prices, implied volatility, and Greeks) is obtained from third-party providers and/or computed from third-party inputs. It may be delayed, estimated, incomplete, or inaccurate, is provided “as is”, and must not be used as a real-time source for trading decisions. Third-party data is subject to the providers’ own terms, and you may not redistribute it.
Features, supported connections, and data coverage may change. Maintenance, provider outages, market hours, and technical limits can interrupt or delay updates. We do not guarantee continuous availability or error-free analytics. Alerts depend on background processing and third-party delivery services; they may be delayed, missed, or duplicated and are not a substitute for monitoring your brokerage account. Any mandatory rights concerning a failure to provide a paid service remain unaffected.
You agree not to:
New eligible accounts receive a 14-day Pro trial without a payment card. Eligible new accounts created through an approved partner's referral link or code receive a 30-day Pro trial instead of 14 days. A referral does not change the subscription price. If you do not purchase a subscription, the account moves to the Free plan when the trial expires and no subscription payment is collected. Free and Pro features are described on the pricing page.
A free Pro trial is available only to eligible users. Creating another account, using an email alias or reconnecting the same brokerage account does not restart an existing trial. When a previous trial is identified within our retention period, its original end date applies. Temporary email addresses are not eligible for a free Pro trial. You may still use Free features or subscribe to Pro. These checks do not cancel an active paid subscription.
Monthly and annual Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. Annual subscriptions are charged as one annual amount, even when a monthly equivalent is displayed. The checkout shows the currency, total, billing interval, applicable taxes, and first payment date before you confirm purchase. By completing checkout you authorize the disclosed initial and recurring charges.
If you subscribe while at least 48 hours remain in your account's free trial, the first charge is scheduled for that trial's existing end date. If less time remains or the trial has ended, payment starts immediately. Subscribing, cancelling, or subscribing again does not restart or extend the trial. Always check the payment date shown at checkout.
Cancel through Settings > Billing management > Manage subscription before the next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals and ordinarily leaves access available through the paid billing period (or the remaining subscription trial). It does not itself refund a payment already collected. Contact [email protected] if you cannot access cancellation. Deleting the app, stopping use, or disconnecting a broker is not subscription cancellation.
Payments and renewals are non-refundable for change of mind, non-use, or forgetting to cancel. We do not ordinarily provide prorated refunds or credits for unused time. This is subject to applicable law and the Refund Policy: we correct duplicate or erroneous charges and provide any refund or other remedy required by law. Review the Refund Policy before purchase.
Price changes apply prospectively, with notice and any consent required by law; they do not alter the price of the current paid term. These updated refund terms do not remove rights that applied to an earlier purchase. A new policy applies to later purchases or renewals only after the notice and consent required by applicable law.
The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data and third-party data), is owned by Convexity Group and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, internal purposes in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the data you provide or connect (“Your Data”) and grant us a license to host, process, and display it as needed to operate and improve the Service.
The Service also lets you create content such as trade-journal notes, tags, saved scenarios, and names you give to ideas or positions (“Your Content”). You retain ownership of Your Content and are solely responsible for it. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is lawful, and you must not submit content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates any third party’s rights. We do not monitor Your Content and are not responsible or liable for it, but we may remove or restrict content we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law. You grant us a license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
The Service and all content and data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or any data will be accurate, complete, timely, uninterrupted, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Convexity Group and its officers, directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading or investment losses, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) CAD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Convexity Group from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
You can stop using the Service, cancel your subscription, and request account deletion. These are different actions; manage subscription cancellation in Billing management. We may restrict or terminate access for breaches of these Terms, security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the Service, subject to applicable notice and consumer protections. Account and backup retention are described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Deleting your account ends app access immediately and attempts to cancel any active Stripe subscription. If the deletion confirmation does not confirm subscription cancellation, contact [email protected] so we can check it. You can cancel in Billing management before deleting to verify that future renewals have stopped. Account deletion does not itself create a refund entitlement or remove any refund right provided by law.
We publish the effective date of updates and notify you of material changes through the app or other appropriate channels. The app asks you to review and accept a new legal version before continuing to use it. We retain the acceptance version and timestamp. We provide any additional notice or obtain any separate consent required by law. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights relating to an earlier purchase.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Québec, Canada for any dispute, except where prohibited by applicable law.
Please read this section carefully: where it applies, it changes how disputes are resolved. Except where prohibited by applicable law, you and Convexity Group agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally will be settled by final and binding individual arbitration rather than in court, save that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Before starting arbitration, you agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis. You and Convexity Group waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action, and an arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims.
This section does not apply to the extent applicable law prohibits pre-dispute arbitration agreements or class-action waivers. In particular, if you are a consumer resident in Québec or another jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection law makes such clauses unenforceable, those mandatory protections prevail, and nothing here limits any right the law guarantees you to bring or take part in proceedings, including class actions. Any portion of this section held unenforceable will be severed, and the remainder will continue in effect.
